MOSCOW. July 21 (Interfax) - Kiev's Western curators are clearly frustrated with the absence of any results in Kiev's offensive, and neither arms supplies nor thousands of foreign mercenaries can help it, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"It's obvious today that the Western curators of the Kiev regime are clearly frustrated with the results of the so-called counteroffensive, which the Ukrainian authorities heralded loudly over the previous months. There are no results, at least for now," Putin said at a conference with Russian Security Council permanent members on Friday.
"Neither the colossal resources pumped into the Kiev regime, nor supplies of Western weapons, tanks, artillery, armor, and missiles, nor the sending of thousands of foreign mercenaries and advisors, who have been used in the most active way in attempts to break through our army front, help," he said.
