Ukrainian army's manpower losses stand at tens of thousands - Putin (Part 2)

MOSCOW. July 21 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost tens of thousands of troops, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"As a result of the suicidal attacks, formations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have sustained enormous losses. They are tens of thousands, precisely tens of thousands of people," Putin said at a meeting with the members of the Russian Security Council on Friday.

"Despite the constant raids and never-ceasing mobilization in cities and villages of Ukraine, it is becoming increasingly difficult for the current regime to drive new reinforcements of troops to the front," he said.

"The country's mobilization resources are depleting," the president said.
