BAKU. July 21 (Interfax) - Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has said he believes a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia could be signed by the end of 2023.
"If Armenia agrees to this clause [of a treaty], in which it completely foregoes any territorial claims on Azerbaijan, I think signing a peace treaty is realistic by the end of this year," Aliyev said in Shusha on Friday.
