MOSCOW. July 27 (Interfax) - Russian Helicopters, part of state corporation Rostec, will display five helicopters, namely the Ansat, Mi-171A3, Mi-38, Mi-8MTV-1, and the Mi-8AMT, at the second Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum, which is being held in St. Petersburg on July 27-28.
"Russian Helicopters is presenting medical, offshore, transport and VIP helicopters at the second Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum. The participants and guests of the event will be able to see these machines at the holding's static exhibition," the company's press service said in a statement released on Thursday.
It also said that, besides supplying helicopter equipment, work is being done in African countries to create service centers and set up warehouses for spare parts needed for maintaining the helicopters.
