Motorized rifles, tank crews conduct fire drills in Belarus' Minsk region

MINSK. July 27 (Interfax) - Motorized rifles and tank crews have practiced live firing during an exercise in Belarus' Minsk region, the Belarusian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

"Combat training exercises were conducted at the 227th combined arms training range [in the region's Borisov district] with troops from the motorized infantry and tank units of the 120th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade," it said on Thursday.

"During the exercises, the guards troops tested their skills in firing [the weapons of] a T-72B battle tank and BMP-2 [Infantry Fighting Vehicle], tactical shooting, throwing grenades, and evacuating casualties from a combat vehicle," it said.
