EU imposes sanctions against 5 organizations, 7 individuals from Russia

BRUSSELS. July 28 (Interfax) - European Union authorities on Friday included in the sanctions lists on Russia another seven individuals and five organizations, including the Inforos news agency and ANO Dialog, the Official Journal of the EU said.

In particular, sanctions have been imposed against the heads of these companies. Two employees of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) have also been sanctioned.

The Official Journal of the EU said Brussels believes the sanctioned individuals and organizations are responsible for "actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine."
