MOSCOW. July 31 (Interfax) - The Russian Defense Ministry is planning to sign contracts worth over 433 billion rubles at the Army 2023 international military-technical forum in August, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said at a teleconference with commanders of the Russian Armed Forces.
Almost 1,500 enterprises will display about 28,000 military and dual-use products at the forum beginning on August 14, he said.
"The heads of 108 defense agencies have been invited to the forum," Shoigu said.
The Army 2023 forum will demonstrate domestically produced military-technical products that have been tested in real combat, he said.
"The scientific and business program consists of over 260 events to address current issues in the development of the defense industry, as well as military and military-technical cooperation," Shoigu said,
The 11th Moscow Conference on International Security will take place simultaneously with the forum, he said.
"Its program includes global stability amid the formation of a multipolar world order, interaction between the defense ministries of various countries, and military aspects of regional security in Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa," Shoigu said.
There will be roundtables on the special military operation at the forum, he said.
"The Second International Antifascist Congress will also be held in August in Belarus and at the Patriot convention and exhibition center in Kubinka, Moscow region," Shoigu said.
