Poland deploying NATO hardware near Belarus's borders - media

MINSK. July 31 (Interfax) - Poland is deploying NATO military hardware near its border with Belarus, the Belarus-1 state TV channel reported on Monday.

"NATO is continuing to redeploy weapons and military hardware eastwards. A train carrying German military hardware has been observed in Poland moving toward the Belarusian border. Twelve Marder infantry fighting vehicles and four Dachs armored engineering vehicles are on the platforms," it said.

"The alliance is redeploying its military hardware amid Warsaw's plans to double the numerical strength of its own army," it said.
