HMEIMIM. Aug 3 (Interfax) - The Russian military is concered by reports that suicide bombers are being trained to stage attacks on sites and patrols of the Russian Armed Forces and the Syrian army.
"The Russian side is extremely concerned about information indicating that the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group [banned in Russia] is actively training suicide bombers whose task will be to stage terrorist attacks on facilities and patrols of the Russian Armed Forces and the Syrian Army," deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria Rear Adm. Vadim Kulit said at a press briefing on Wednesday.
The Russian group of forces in Syria "will take the most resolute and tough measures against militants who are plotting to attack Russian and Syrian servicemen," Kulit said.
