HMEIMIM. Aug 3 (Interfax) - Aircraft of the so-called international antiterrorist coalition led by the United States continue to cause dangerous situations in Syria's sky, deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria Rear Adm. Vadim Kulit said.
"Over the past 24 hours, there were 13 breaches of the December 9, 2019 deconfliction protocols, related to flights of unmanned aerial vehicles that were not agreed with the Russian side," Kulit said at a press briefing on Wednesday.
"An increase in the number of violations of Syria's airspace has been recorded in the Al-Tanf area, which international air routes pass through. Fourteen violations by five pairs of coalition F-35 fighter jets, one pair of F-16 fighter jets and two MQ-1C multipurpose unmanned aircraft were registered there," he said.
