Over 100 Russian servicemen take part in MiG-29 exercise in Armenia

ROSTOV-ON-DON. Aug 3 (Interfax) - Russian MiG-29 multirole fighter jets stationed at the Southern Military District airbase in Armenia have trained in conducting airborne maneuvers, the district's press service said in a statement.

"MiG-29 pilots of the Southern Military District performed advanced airborne maneuvers in Armenian airspace. They trained in conducting elements of advanced airborne maneuvers across the entire range of altitudes, both during the day and at night. The servicemen performed training flights solo and in pairs, and as units and in a squadron above the Erebuni airbase," the statement said.

More than 120 servicemen of the Southern Military District and about 20 pieces of military and special hardware, including MiG-29 jets, took part in the training flights.
