BAKU. Aug 3 (Interfax) - Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received United States Secretary of State's Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations Louis Bono in Baku on Thursday.
"The meeting participants discussed the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the current situation in the region, and the current situation surrounding negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and their prospects," the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
Azerbaijan's proposal that the Aghdam-Khankendi road be used for providing assistance to the Armenian residents of Karabakh remains on the table, Bayramov said.
"The parties also exchanged opinions on other matters of mutual interest," it said.
