Ukrainian drone attack on Crimea repelled, 10 drones downed, 3 jammed by EW means - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Aug 4 (Interfax) - An attempt by Ukraine to attack sites in Crimea with 13 drones last night was thwarted, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"An attempt by the Kiev regime to stage a terrorist attack with plane-type unmanned aerial vehicles on sites in the territory of the Crimean Peninsula was thwarted last night," the Defense Ministry said on Friday.

"On-duty air defense forces shot down ten drones. Three other enemy drones were suppressed by electronic warfare systems," it said.

"There are no casualties and destruction as a result of the prevented terrorist attack," it said.
