MINSK. Aug 4 (Interfax) - Belarusian defense industry companies will display their products, including drones, surface-to-air missile systems, and multiple launch rocket systems at the Army 2023 forum in Russia, the Belarusian State Military-Industrial Committee's press service said in a statement on Friday.
"Belarus is ready to actively take part in the exhibition, which has now become a tradition. State Military-Industrial Committee Chairman Dmitry Pantus will head the delegation. Belarusian weapons producers will display more than 80 samples and prototypes of their products, including information mobility and display devices, drones, communication and automated control devices, radar and surface-to-air systems, reconnaissance and radio-electronic warfare devices, MLRS, sighting systems, and other products," the statement said.
"As part of Belarusian-Russian military-technical cooperation, which is dynamically getting pace, participation representatives of the local defense industry in the forum will allow the maximum possible cooperation of the scientific and production communities of fraternal states aimed at creating and improving modern samples of hi-tech military and dual-purpose products," it said.
Pantus "plans to have a number of important meetings with Russian and foreign colleagues from friendly states in the interests of the further development of military-technical cooperation," it said.
The Army 2023 international military-technical forum will take place the Patriot congress and exhibition center, the Alabino firing range, and at the Kubinka airfield on August 14-20. The Russian Defense Ministry is the forum's organizer. The Moscow Conference on International Security will take place as part of the Army 2023 forum.
