Motorized infantry training near Lithuanian border - Belarusian Defense Ministry

MINSK. Aug 7 (Interfax) - A command-post exercise involving Belarusian motorized infantry is taking place near the Belarusian-Lithuanian border, the Belarusian Defense Ministry's press service said on Monday.

"A command-post exercise involving the 6th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade begins today. The exercise will be held at the Gozhsky range and areas in the Grodno region," the press service said.

"The exercise will train [troops in] controlling units during combat," it said.

"The experience of the special military operation, such as the broad use of unmanned aerial vehicles and close interaction of tank and motorized infantry units with other branches, was actively used in preparations" for the exercise, the press service said.

"Training in tactical medicine, including evacuation of simulated casualties, will be carried out during the exercise," it said.
