MOSCOW. Aug 7 (Interfax) - Russia's Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin met with the secretary general of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Imangali Tasmagambetov, in Moscow on Monday to discuss military cooperation, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
"The meeting involved an exchange of views on current issues relating to military cooperation [and] improving the legal framework of the Organization," the statement said.
The CSTO comprises Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
