YEKATERINBURG. Aug 8 (Interfax) - Russian forces have neutralized mock enemy drones during an exercise in Tajikistan, the press service for Russia's Central Military District said.
"Troops practiced [carrying out] a joint response after being alerted about mock enemy drones approaching the site of Russian forces' field camp near one of the mountain training grounds in Tajikistan," it said.
Electronic warfare specialists from Russia's 201st military based used Pole-21M, Svet-KU, Silok-02 and R-934BMV systems to suppress the drones' operational and data transmission signals, it said. They also created a jamming "dome", thwarting a simulated kamikaze drone attack.
