S-400 air defense missile systems train in downing super-fast targets in Russia's Leningrad region

MOSCOW. Aug 8 (Interfax) - S-400 Triumf air defense missile systems have trained in downing super-fast, highly maneuverable mock enemy targets during an exercise in the Leningrad region, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on its website on Tuesday.

"Servicemen of an air defense missile regiment have trained in air defense operations, repelling a mock airstrike conducted simultaneously by super-fast, highly maneuverable targets and targets flying at extremely low altitudes," the statement said.

It was a scheduled exercise, it said.
