MOSCOW. Aug 9 (Interfax) - The United States has committed a war crime by including cluster munitions in its assistance package for Ukraine, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.
"In the face of growing shortage of ammunition for Western-made artillery systems in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Washington has committed a war crime by including cluster munitions, which are prohibited by an international convention, in its assistance package," Shoigu said at a meeting of the Defense Ministry's board.
