KRASNOGORSK. Aug 9 (Interfax) - People may be trapped under the debris of a plant in Sergiyev Posad in the Moscow region, where an explosion occurred on Wednesday, the urban district administration's press service said.
The administration reported 38 casualties.
"There are no open flames. Firefighters and rescuers are clearing up the debris. Presumably, people may be trapped under the debris. All information is channeled to the headquarters," the administration said on Telegram.
Fire engines continue arriving at the plant: the entire Sergiyev Posad fire department is there together with reinforcements from nearby cities.
"Another injured person has been pulled from the rubble. He was taken to a district hospital by an ambulance. The total number is 38," the administration said.
