Russia's Kalashnikov to display over 150 items of firearms, military hardware at Army 2023 Forum

MOSCOW. Aug 9 (Interfax) - Kalashnikov, Russia's leading firearms manufacturer, will exhibit over 150 items of new weapons and hardware at the Army 2023 International Military-Technical Forum, the company's press service said on Wednesday.

"The concern's display will include the latest items of combat and civil small arms, missile and artillery systems, special equipment, special clothing, and unmanned aerial vehicles. Over 150 items in total," it said.

In particular, Kalashnikov will demonstrate an upgraded version of the AK-12 assault rifle, the Chukavin sniper rifle, the Kalashnikov PPK-20 submachinegun, the MPO, MPL1, and PLK pistols, and other weapons, it said.

Kalashnikov will also present drones manufactured by the company's specialized enterprises, tracked and wheeled chassis for the Buk-M3 and Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems and the Zoopark-1M artillery reconnaissance system, and various types of missile and artillery munitions, including the Vikhr-1 guided missile, the Strela 9M333 anti-aircraft guided missile, and the Kitolov-2M guided artillery projectile.

The Army 2023 International Military-Technical Forum will be held from August 14 to 20 at the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center, the Alabino training range, and the Kubinka airfield.
