Fourteen, including 3 in grave condition, in hospital care in Moscow region after Sergiyev Posad blast

KRASNOGORSK. Aug 10 (Interfax) - Over 70 people sought medical care after the Wednesday explosion at a warehouse in Sergiyev Posad, Moscow region, and 14 of them are in hospital care, the regional health ministry's press service said on Thursday.

"As a result of the Sergiyev Posad incident, 14 people remain at the Sergiyev Posad hospital. Three of them are in the ICU in grave condition, and the rest have conditions of medium severity," the press service said.

In all, 71 people have been given medical assistance over the day, it said.

One patient died, and two were transferred to federal clinics on Wednesday.

As reported, an explosion occurred at a rented fireworks warehouse near the Zagorsk Optical-Mechanical Plant at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

Twelve people are accounted as missing.
