Putin stresses importance of security in info space at meeting with Russian Security Council members

MOSCOW. Aug 11 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and the permanent members of the Russian Security Council have discussed measures to maintain the country's security in the information space.

"Today we will discuss the work in the information space aimed at ensuring Russia's security in modern-day conditions. All of us realize how important it is, especially now. It has always been important, but today it is particularly important. And, bearing in mind the specifics of today's situation, we will discuss this crucial matter," Putin said.
