MOSCOW. Aug 11 (Interfax) - A court in Sergiev Posad, a town in the Moscow region, has ordered the detention of Sergei Chankayev, the technical director of the Piro-Ross enterprise where an explosion occurred.
"A restraining measure has been selected for Chankayev in the form of custody until October 9," the judge said, after finding no reason to select a milder measure of restraint for the accused.
