MOSCOW. Aug 14 (Interfax) - Aircraft of the U.S.-led coalition continue to create dangerous situations in Syria by flights in violation of deconfliction protocols and trespassing on the Syrian airspace, deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria Rear Adm. Vadim Kulit said at a press briefing on Sunday.
"Thirteen violations of the deconfliction protocols dated December 9, 2019 by flights of coalition unmanned aerial vehicles uncoordinated with Russia have been observed in the past 24 hours," Kulit said.
"Al-Tanf area saw 10 violations by two pairs of F-35 fighter jets, two pairs of F-16 fighter jets, and two MQ-1C multirole unmanned aerial vehicles of the coalition over the past day," he said.
"Such actions of the coalition continue to create risks of aviation incidents and accidents and escalate tensions in the Syrian airspace," Kulit said.
