Putin notes dynamic development of cooperation with Pakistan - Kremlin

MOSCOW. Aug 14 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has noted dynamic development of the political dialogue and fruitful cooperation between Russia and Pakistan in a variety of areas in his greetings to Pakistani President Arif Alvi on Pakistan's Independence Day.

"Our countries maintain friendly relations. The bilateral political dialogue and fruitful cooperation in various areas have been dynamic. Moscow and Islamabad actively interact on the antiterrorism and African tracks, and other relevant matters on the global agenda," Putin said in his telegram published on the Kremlin website.

"I am confident that we will continue to bolster diverse Russian-Pakistani relations by joint efforts to the benefit of our peoples and for the sake of strengthening regional stability and security," Putin said.

He wished robust health and success to Alvi and peace and prosperity to all citizens of Pakistan.
