Russian MiG-29 fighter jets hold aerobatics drill in Armenia

ROSTOV-ON-DON. Aug 14 (Interfax) - MiG-28 multirole fighter jets from Russia's Southern Military District airbase in Armenia have trained at perfecting piloting skills during training flights, the district's press service said in a statement.

"Pilots trained at performing easy, intermediate and advanced aerobatics. Elements of advanced aerobatics were performed over the Erebuni airfield. In addition, the pilots flew along designated routes, including those in the highlands," the press service said.

Over 120 troops and about 20 aircraft and specialized vehicles from the district took part in the training flights, it said.
