MOSCOW. Aug 15 (Interfax) - NATO might be seeking to fully integrate with the AUKUS alliance (Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States), Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"The U.S. is seeking, among other things, to reshape the system of interaction between states, which has developed in the Asia-Pacific region, to suit its interests. The promotion of so-called Indo-Pacific strategies is actually aimed at creating military-political associations controlled by Washington," Putin said in a video address to the participants in the 11th Moscow Conference on International Security.
"We cannot rule out that they might be working toward completely integrating NATO forces with nascent structures of the AUKUS bloc," Putin said.
