KUBINKA, Moscow region. Aug 15 (Interfax) - Ukraine has accumulated substantial stockpiles of weapons and ammunition in Odessa and other Black Sea ports under cover of the grain deal, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.
"Using [the grain deal] as cover from Russian missile strikes, [Ukraine] accumulated substantial stockpiles of weapons and munitions in Odessa and other Black Sea ports, which it is systematically shipping to the frontline," Shoigu said at the 11th Moscow Conference on International Security.
Ukraine has deployed facilities to manufacture unmanned aerial vehicles and marine drones near grain warehouses to strike infrastructural sites in Crimea, he said.
"These facts, which are well known to Ukraine's Western partners, were disregarded while the grain deal's extension or termination was being considered at the United Nations," Shoigu said.
