Russia worried by fact that AUKUS's first practical project deals with military nuclear cooperation - Shoigu

KUBINKA, Moscow region. Aug 15 (Interfax) - Russia is worried about projects dealing with military nuclear technology pursued by the AUKUS alliance comprising Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.

"We note a revealing trend in setting up the AUKUS regional association similar to NATO. Particularly worrying is the fact that cooperation in the military nuclear technology field has been the first practical project of this alliance," Shoigu said at the 11th Moscow Conference on International Security on Tuesday.
