BAKU. Aug 15 (Interfax) - Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov have discussed Baku-Yerevan relations in a phone call, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
During the phone conversation, the parties discussed the current agenda for cooperation between the two countries, efforts to normalize relations between Baku and Yerevan, and the situation in the region, the ministry said.
Armenia is continuing to manipulate the alleged "tense humanitarian situation" and "blockade", and is obstructing the peace process instead of complying with the agreements reached on resolving issues related to meeting the needs of Armenian residents using the Lachin road and other alternative roads, the Azerbaijani foreign minister said.
During the conversation, the ministers stressed the importance of complying with the commitments defined by the trilateral statement of November 10, 2020.
The parties also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
