Russian troops train in controlling Iskander missile strikes in Buryatia

VLADIVOSTOK. Aug 16 (Interfax) - Units of Russia's Eastern Military District stationed in Buryatia have trained in controlling strikes made by Iskander tactical missile systems, the district's press service said.

"Servicemen timely deployed launchers, command vehicles and loader-transport vehicles and provided camouflage and security for the military hardware. A simulated missile launch destroyed the designated targets," it said.

The training involved self-propelled launchers, loader-transport vehicles for Iskander systems, and command vehicles, it said.
