State contracts worth over 400 bln rubles signed at Army 2023 forum - Russian Defense Ministry

KUBINKA, Moscow region. Aug 16 (Interfax) - The Russian Defense Ministry has signed state contracts with defense industry companies and handed state contracts worth more than 400 billion rubles over to companies at the Army 2023 International Military-Technical Forum, head of the Russian Armed Forces' Main Armament Department Lieut. Gen. Anatoly Gulyaev said.

"Today, 11 [state contracts] were signed and nine state contracts worth more than 400 billion rubles were handed over," Gulyaev said.

The Russian Armed Forces will receive over 2,500 new types of weapons, military and special hardware and over 1.8 million pieces of weaponry after the contracts are fulfilled, he said.
