MOSCOW. Aug 16 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Defense Minister Col. Gen. Alexander Fomin and Commander of the Royal Army of Oman Maj. Gen. Matar al Balushi discussed cooperation prospects between the two countries' defense agencies at the Army 2023 international military-technical forum, the Russian Defense Ministry told journalists.
"During negotiations, the parties discussed relevant aspects of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation. The meeting was held in an atmosphere of friendship and confidence and confirmed the parties' mutual determination to further develop military cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Sultanate of Oman," it said.
