Belarus registers Wagner Group company as education services provider

MINSK. Aug 16 (Interfax) - Information about the Wagner Group limited liability company has appeared in the Belarusian Justice Ministry's unified register of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.

The Osipovichi District Executive Committee registered the company on August 4, 2023. Its registered address is in the village of Tselya, Osipovichi district, where a field camp accommodating Wagner members relocated to Belarus is situated. Concord Management and Consulting, founded by Russia's Concord Management and Consulting company, which is led by Yevgeny Prigozhin, was registered earlier at the same address.

The owner of the Wagner Group company is Russian citizen Maxim Petrov, the register says.

According to the register, the main businesses of the Wagner Group company are "other types of education not included in other groups." According to Belarusian laws, these types in particular include education that cannot be classed by education level, vocational training courses, survival courses and so on.

It was reported earlier that Wagner Group owner Prigozhin registered the Concord Management and Consulting limited liability company in Belarus.

According to the unified state register of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, the Mogilev Region Executive Committee registered the company on July 19, 2023. Its address is in the village of Tselya, Osipovichi district.

The Russia-based Concord Management and Consulting limited liability company is listed as the company's owner and founder, and Prigozhin is its director.

According to the register, the Concord Management and Consulting company's core business is listed as "real estate property management."
