Belarus terminates military-technical cooperation agreement with Ukraine

MINSK. Aug 17 (Interfax) - Belarus has terminated the agreement on military-technical cooperation with Ukraine.

A decision to this effect, adopted by the Belarusian government, has been published on the online national legislation database of Belarus.

"To terminate the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus and the government of Ukraine on military-technical cooperation, signed in Minsk on December 16, 1994," the government's executive order, which took effect on August 15, 2023, said.

An intergovernmental protocol, which was signed by the parties in 2003 and introduced amendments into the agreement, was also declared to be no longer in force.
