Belarus-China military cooperation not directed against third countries - Lukashenko

MINSK. Aug 17 (Interfax) - Military cooperation between Belarus and China is not directed against third countries, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said at a meeting with Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu.

"Our entire cooperation, which is of great relevance, will by no means be directed against third countries. We do not need that. What we need is to ensure the security of our states and our peoples," the BelTA state-run news agency quoted Lukashenko as saying at the meeting.
