MOSCOW. Aug 17 (Interfax) - Russian assault units have carried out successful offensive operations and improved their position in the Donetsk sector, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
"In addition, assault units of the Russian group of forces have conducted successful offensive operations and improved their frontline position," Konashenkov said at a press briefing on Thursday.
