SAMARA. Aug 17 (Interfax) - The first launch of the Soyuz-5 launch vehicle, which is being developed by the Progress space rocket center, is planned for December 2025, as was reported to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during his visit to the Progress center in Samara on Thursday.
Mishustin was shown the assembly and test workshop for the first Soyuz-5 launch vehicle and was then briefed on prospects of the Progress center's development.
According to the report submitted to Mishustin, the assembly of the first Soyuz-5 launch vehicle is to be completed by November 25, 2025, and its launch is set for December 24, 2025.
