MINSK. Aug 17 (Interfax) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said he has not decided yet whether he will run in the next presidential election.
"Honestly, I have not made any decisions. Maybe I have a certain careless attitude towards this, but I have so many problems that I need to resolve. I will decide when the time comes," Lukashenko said in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Diana Panchenko.
He currently has many other things to deal with, and needs to "persevere" and "hold on," and "not end up in some kind of story," he said.
"That's the main thing for me now. Both my future and the future of the next administration depends precisely on that," Lukashenko said.
Lukashenko has not yet discussed the next presidential election in Belarus with his children, he said.
