ROSTOV-ON-DON. Aug 18 (Interfax) - The People's Council of the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) has adopted the bill On the Election of the LPR Head, a source in the LPR parliament told Interfax.
"The head of the republic will be elected by People's Council members from among three candidates nominated by the Russian president," Council Speaker Denis Miroshnichenko said at a parliament meeting.
He said the ballot would be secret.
The bill passed by a unanimous vote of 44 members of the LPR People's Council
