Putin orders Lavrov to head Russian delegation at UNGA session

MOSCOW. Aug 18 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved the makeup of the Russian delegation at the 78th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) led by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

The relevant presidential order was published on the official website of legal information.

The delegation also includes Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs Grigory Karasin, Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Foreign Affairs Leonid Slutsky, among others.
