MOSCOW. Aug 21 (Interfax) - Russian air defense forces have shot down a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle in the Belgorod region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
"Russian air defense systems detected and destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle over the Belgorod region," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian plane-type drone was downed at about 2:30 p.m. Moscow time, it said.
