KRASNOGORSK. Aug 22 (Interfax) - Two drones were shot down over the Moscow region with no casualties, Moscow region governor Andrei Vorobyev said.
"Two drones were intercepted by air defenses over the Moscow region last night: in Chastsy in the Odintsovo urban district and in Krasnogorosk in the Pavshinskaya floodplain. The focus of all emergency services is on the second incident. The shockwave as a result of the [drone] crash blew out windows in a high-rise apartment building and damaged cars," Vorobyev said on his Telegram channel.
No local residents were injured in the incident and no fires were caused, the governor said.
"The Krasnogorosk mayor is now going door to door together with [personnel of] the Emergency Situations Ministry and other services. I ask everyone to stay calm," he said.
