MAGADAN. Aug 22 (Interfax) - Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev has discussed the protection of industrial and transport facilities, the security of local residents, and social support for special military operation participants at a conference in Magadan.
"The discussion focused on antiterrorist protection of industrial and transport infrastructure, security of the region's residents, and social support for participants in the special military operation and their families," the Russian Security Council's press service said on Tuesday following Patrushev's meeting with Magadan region governor Sergei Nosov.
While in Magadan, Patrushev hosted a conference on measures to maintain national security in Russia's Far Eastern Federal District.
