MINSK. Aug 29 (Interfax) - An agent of Polish special services has been detained in Belarus, the ONT state-run television channel said on Monday.
The person is suspected of gathering information about Belarus, its security and also on military and defense issues, the TV channel said.
An investigative film will be shown on Tuesday, ONT said. The TV channel's announcement identifies the detained man as political scientist Andrei Porotnikov. He used to work for the Belarusian Interior Ministry, but then resigned and became an independent analyst in the field of security and security services.
