MOSCOW. Aug 30 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has been briefed on the latest drone attack on Russian territory, including on Pskov, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"Indeed, the supreme commander-in-chief has been receiving all information related to the situation both concerning the special military operation itself and that surrounding the operation, promptly and on an ongoing basis, and of course, when it comes to such mass attacks, this information is also immediately reported to the supreme commander-in-chief," Peskov told journalists on Wednesday.
Asked whether Russia will respond to this attack and whether there is an understanding of where exactly the drones were launched from, Peskov replied, "I have no doubt that our military experts are working on those issues right now, including finding out the routes and analyzing how this was done, in order to take proper measures to prevent such situations in the future," Peskov said.
