MOSCOW. Aug 30 (Interfax) - International agencies can take no part in the investigation of the air crash that killed businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin, since intentional actions are a key line of inquiry, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
Reporters asked Peskov to comment on Russia's refusal to let Brazil, as the manufacturer of the Embraer jet that was carrying Prigozhin and his associates, to participate in the investigation. "First of all, the investigation is being conducted by the Russian Investigative Committee, President Putin has said so, and this is a domestic investigation. Hence, in this case, any international investigation is out of the question," Peskov said.
"In this case, it's a completely different situation associated with this air crash. Obviously, there are various lines of inquiry, including, so to speak, an intentional offense. Let us wait for the results of the investigation," Peskov said.
