"Tasks related to reinforcing the Polish-Belarusian border's defense system are being carried out by units of the 16th Mechanized Division, the 18th Mechanized Division, and the nascent 1st Infantry Division. To ensure the presence of certain units and demonstrate the ability to immediately respond to attempts to destabilize the situation on the eastern border, an additional training taskforce has been established, which includes, among others, soldiers from the aforementioned tactical units, as well as the 17th Mechanized Brigade, the 6th Airborne Brigade, the 25th Air Cavalry Brigade, the 21st Base of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, the 1st Army Aviation Brigade, territorial defense forces, military police, and special forces," the report says.

"The troops performing duties on the border are equipped, in particular, with Rosomak armored personnel carriers, Rak artillery systems, Leopard tanks, Piorun anti-aircraft missile systems, engineering and reconnaissance equipment, and unmanned aerial vehicles. In carrying out their tasks, they are also being provided with air support in the form of helicopters," it said.
