BRYANSK. Aug 31 (Interfax) - Three drones have been downed in Bryansk, governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz said.
"Thanks to the vigilance of our citizens, an officer on duty at the 112 hotline call center was informed about suspicious aircraft spotted over Bryansk. Units of the Russian National Guard and the Bryansk regional police department were scrambled to verify the reports," Bogomaz said on Telegram on Thursday.
"The prompt response of the Russian National Guard resulted in the downing of three fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles by an anti-drone gun and a specialized carbine in Bryansk," he said.
There are no casualties or damage. Emergency services are working at the scene, Bogomaz said.
The governor reported downing of nine drones in the Bryansk region on Wednesday.
